Tule Elk / CALM Field Trip

April 24, 2020 - April 25, 2020

Due to COVID-19 this field trip will be rescheduled for another date.

Join Teranga Ranch on an educational adventure as we explore the Tule Elk Preserve and the spectacular native wildlife that can be found at the California Living Museum.

The Tule Elk preserve in Buttonwillow is an homage to the past and home to California’s only endemic elk, the Tule Elk. Learn his story of a comeback from the brink of extinction and watch herd dynamics in action.

The California Living Museum is an amazing collection of native wildlife that came in through their wildlife hospital but could not be returned to the wild for whatever reason. It’s a little educational gem in Bakersfield!

This is a carpool/caravan trip!

Complete, detailed itinerary will be made available at registration.

(Let us know: Can you offer a place in your car? Would you like to ride w/someone else?)

Reserve your spot by sending your donation via Paypal (please use the friends and family option) to donations@terangaranch.org with the message “Tule Elk/CALM”. Or you can email me to let me know you’re going and then mail your check to Teranga Ranch PO Box 4222 Sunland 91041.
