Santa Cruz Island Day Trip
September 19 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Join Teranga Ranch for a day exploring one of California’s most remarkable natural treasures: Santa Cruz Island, the largest of the Channel Islands.
This small-group excursion will take us through rugged island landscapes, coastal habitats, and scenic overlooks as we search for wildlife and discover the unique natural history of the Channel Islands. Along the way, we’ll look for island foxes, observe birds and other wildlife, explore native plant communities, and learn about the geology, ecology, and conservation of this extraordinary island ecosystem.
Whether you’re a nature enthusiast, hiker, photographer, or simply curious about the natural world, this guided exploration offers an opportunity to slow down, look closer, and experience Santa Cruz Island through the eyes of a naturalist.
Registration includes round-trip ferry transportation and guided natural history interpretation throughout the day.
Participants are responsible for transportation to Ventura Harbor, parking, meals, water, and personal gear.
Space is limited to 15 participants to ensure a personal and engaging experience.
