Dana will discuss the natural history and behaviors of our local native wildlife as well as humane vs. inhumane backyard wildlife deterrents. But what about rats? Learn about the dangers of rodenticide use and the proper use of alternate humane traps. Worried about your small pets? There are a humane hazing devices and safe enclosures, such as “catios” that are useful alternatives to poison, traps and guns. Come and see these devices and learn how they might work in your backyard.
