DESCRIPTION:Bears in Strange Places…\nMost folks don’t know what to do!\nWhat would you do?\nLearn how bears think and how to act if you cross paths with one of these beautiful creatures.\n\nOur speaker is Dana Stangel\, a Biology teacher and Urban Wildlife Specialist with Teranga Ranch. She conducts backyard wildlife consultations\, hosts public presentations\, and organizes educational field trips to learn about and observe native wildlife.\nTeranga Ranch is a wildlife education organization educating Californians about local wildlife\, teaching us how to coexist. Dana goes to schools\, home owners association meetings\, and holds community meetings when there is a perceived wildlife issue\, like coyotes. Dana will bring humane hazing devices and will discuss humane alternatives to poison\, traps and guns.\nTeranga Ranch teaches community classes about local wildlife\, presents workshops and hosts Field Trips. They also provide opportunities for anyone to get outside and involve themselves with wildlife\, nature and Science.\n************\nBolton Hall Museum is located at\nthe corner of Commerce & Valmont\nParking is available across the street at the Elks Lodge\nFree admission and all are welcome!\nSuggested donation: $3 per person\nAll proceeds benefit Teranga Ranch

DESCRIPTION:Join us for A Day in nature! Together with Eaton Canyon we are doing a presentation about wildlife on the urban interface.\nThis event is free and it goes on from 9am-3pm. At 10:45 Teranga Ranch will be doing one of our famous Coyote presentations.\nThere will also be other local environmental organizations in attendance as well as story time\, a bird walk and animal ambassadors.\nWe hope you can make it! \n \n
