SUMMARY:Tule Elk / CALM Field Trip
DESCRIPTION:Due to COVID-19 this field trip will be rescheduled for another date. \nJoin Teranga Ranch on an educational adventure as we explore the Tule Elk Preserve and the spectacular native wildlife that can be found at the California Living Museum. \nThe Tule Elk preserve in Buttonwillow is an homage to the past and home to California’s only endemic elk\, the Tule Elk. Learn his story of a comeback from the brink of extinction and watch herd dynamics in action. \nThe California Living Museum is an amazing collection of native wildlife that came in through their wildlife hospital but could not be returned to the wild for whatever reason. It’s a little educational gem in Bakersfield! \nThis is a carpool/caravan trip! \nComplete\, detailed itinerary will be made available at registration. \n(Let us know: Can you offer a place in your car? Would you like to ride w/someone else?) \nReserve your spot by sending your donation via Paypal (please use the friends and family option) to donations@terangaranch.org with the message “Tule Elk/CALM”. Or you can email me to let me know you’re going and then mail your check to Teranga Ranch PO Box 4222 Sunland 91041. \n\n$75 per person\nSaturday\, April 25\, 2020\n8am-5pm\n\n \n\nLeave from: Lowell Park & Ride (3930 Lowell\, La Crescenta 91214)\n \n\nAll reservations must be in by April 20.
