DESCRIPTION:On the Water with Otters \nWhile it isn’t yet safe enough for us to hit the big destinations or take groups around\, we’re starting back with the ultimate social distance day adventure opportunity for you! \nWe are going kayaking among sea otters and sea lions in beautiful Morro Bay. \nIt’s about a mile or two worth of kayaking.  You don’t need to be a serious kayaker for this trip. DESCRIPTION:IT’S WINTER ALONG THE CALIFORNIA COAST!!!!  \nJoin Teranga Ranch on an educational adventure as we explore the central California coastline and the spectacular native wildlife that can be found there. \nJoin us on our swanky tour bus while we head to Pismo Beach to view the Monarchs (whose numbers are improved so far this year!!!)\, Morro Rock  to see the Sea Otters\, Sea Lions and possibly Harbor Seals\, and finally Piedras Blancas to behold more than 10\,000 Elephant Seals who are having babies all over the beach!\n(If you love taking photos of wildlife in the wild\, this is the trip for you!) \nWe’ll learn about wildlife with a variety of native wildlife educators during the ride and then experience it live right where it belongs\, wild and free! \nYour tour includes 12 hours of personalized\, professional guide services\, transportation up and down the coast on a chartered bus\, a swag bag with native milkweek and other surprises\, and the experience of a lifetime!\nThis tour plans to feature presentations by outstanding experts in their fields\, Kristy Clougherty Brauch and John Sanders\, from the Delphinus School of Natural History. In 2016\, she successfully encouraged the Mayor of Pasadena to sign a proclamation titled “The Mayor’s Monarch’s Pledge\,” which provided action items to advance the community in helping the plight of the monarch butterfly. She is the recipient of many grants including a project with US Fish and Wildlife that led to a community garden\, public festival\, and school projects supported by the City of Pasadena and Pasadena Unified School District. \n*John Sanders is an Outdoor Educator/Naturalist\, for the last 17 years; with the Kern Environmental Education Program (Camp KEEP) During that time I’ve interacted with thousands of 5th and 6th graders from Kern\, San Luis Obispo\, and Monterey Counties.\nIn 2011\, John founded the Delphinus School of Natural History as a regional\, Summer Science-Exploration program for elementary and middle school students.
